Application Management provides a centralized way to manage all applications and application groups in DataService Studio. This feature helps optimize resource configuration and improve management efficiency. This topic describes how to create and manage applications.
Permissions
Super administrators and system administrators can create and manage applications, application groups, application members, and IP whitelists.
Application owners can manage their own applications and application members, including IP whitelists.
Manage application groups
On the Dataphin home page, in the top menu bar, choose Service > Service Management.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Application Management. On the Application Management page, in the upper-right corner, click the Manage Application Groups button.
In the Group Management dialog box, click the Add Group button. Enter a group name of up to 64 characters and then click OK.
You can also modify and delete application groups from the group management list.
Create an application
On the Dataphin home page, in the top menu bar, choose Service > Service Management.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Application Management. On the Application Management page, in the upper-right corner, click the + New Application button.
In the Add Application dialog box, configure the parameters. For more information, see Request to create an application.
Click OK to create the application.
Manage applications
The Application Management page displays the name, application group, owner, and last modified time for each application.
You can search for applications by name or keyword, or filter them by application group.
You can perform the following operations on an application:

Modify the application configuration. The configuration details are the same as when creating a new application.
Delete
This operation cannot be revoked. Proceed with caution.
What to do next
After you create an application, go to the My Applications page by choosing Service > Application Management. On this page, you can view applications you have joined and those you have not. You can use your joined applications to call APIs or request to join applications that you have not yet joined. For more information, see Create and manage my applications.
