To meet flexible and evolving market demands, Dataphin introduced a semi-managed mode. This mode lets you purchase Dataphin and its underlying resources in a one-click order from the user interface. Deployment is completed automatically, providing enhanced security and scalability.

Supported Regions

Dataphin is available for purchase in the following regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Shenzhen), China (Guangzhou), China (Beijing), China (Hohhot), China (Ulanqab), China (Chengdu), China (Hong Kong), Japan (Tokyo), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore, Indonesia (Jakarta), Thailand (Bangkok), Germany (Frankfurt), and US (Virginia).

Version Scenarios

Intelligent R&D Edition (Offline & Real-time): Supports offline and real-time development scenarios. You can create projects with separate production and development environments. This edition provides unique features such as intelligent modeling and logical O&M. It is suitable for enterprise users with large data volumes, strict permission controls, and a professional big data development team.

Quantity

Only an Alibaba Cloud account can purchase Dataphin instances. You can purchase only one instance at a time. You can purchase instances in any supported region without a limit on the total number of purchases.

Subscription Duration

You can subscribe to a Dataphin instance for 1 month, 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years.

Pricing notes

Pricing for Dataphin instance versions is based on data processing unit (DPU) specifications.

Intelligent R&D Edition pricing

DPU calculation rule:

Total DPUs = (Number of data synchronization tasks + Number of data integration tasks) / 3 + Number of offline computing nodes + Total number of logical tables + [Ceiling(Number of metrics / 10)]

Tips:

• Logical tables include logical dimension tables and logical fact tables.

• Virtual computing nodes and virtual logical dimension tables are not included in the DPU calculation.

• The scope of metrics includes derived metrics but excludes registered metrics.

• Only nodes or tables that are published to the production environment and have a recurring schedule are counted. For Basic projects, submitting a node is equivalent to publishing it. One-time tasks and the number of recurring instances generated are not counted.

• Real-time integration nodes and real-time computing nodes are sold separately and are not included in the DPU calculation.

• You cannot publish any more tasks once the resource usage limit is reached.

Data Quality

Billing is based on the Data Quality edition. The available editions are Global Edition, Domain Edition, and Global Edition + Domain Edition.

Data Security

Billing is based on the data security edition.

Data Service

Billing is based on the maximum supported queries per second (QPS) and concurrent specifications.

OpenAPI

Billing is based on the OpenAPI edition.

Stream Pipeline

Billing is based on the real-time integration edition.

Tag Factory

Billing is based on the Tag Factory edition.

Scheduling Cluster

You are billed based on the scheduling cluster version.

Plus Tenant
