Source data is written to the on-premises network-attached storage (NAS) of a Data Transport device and stored as local plaintext files.
This method is applicable to scenarios in which source data needs to be read by using a custom method. For example, if source data is stored by using the on-premises object storage solution, you must use specific tools to read the source data.
