Data Transport allows you to migrate data from remote file systems to Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) by using a Data Transport device.
If your data is stored in a remote file system, such as a remote Windows file system, a remote Linux file system, or a network-attached storage (NAS) server, connect the device where the data is stored to the Ethernet port or optical port of a Data Transport device directly over an Ethernet cable or a network switch. You must mount the remote file system to the Data Transport device for data migration.
