Lease for a single time

The following table describes the billing details based on the lease days.

The lease term starts 5 calendar days after you arrange the logistics service to collect the device and ends after 5 calendar days after you contact the Data Transport staff to migrate data.

The lease term starts 24 hours after you confirm the receipt of the device and ends after you notify Alibaba Cloud of the completion of data migration.
Lease for a long term
This lease method is available only in regions within the Chinese mainland.
Lease rules
You can lease only the Data Transport Micro devices for a long term.
If the device fails, contact Alibaba Cloud technical support. After Alibaba Cloud technical support confirms the device failure, you can apply for device replacement.
NoteYou can replace the failed device only with a device that has the same specifications as the failed device. If you want to replace the failed device with a device that has different specifications, return the failed device and rent another device.
Billing rules
Bills are generated monthly and fees are deducted on the following month.
The minimum required lease term is three months. If the lease term is less than three months, except for the actual use days of the device, you are charged based on the minimum required monthly data volume of the corresponding device model.
In the case of full months of the lease term, the following calculation methods apply:
When the volume of data transferred to the cloud is less than or equal to the minimum required monthly data volume, you are charged based on the minimum required monthly data volume.
When the volume of data transferred to the cloud is greater than the minimum required monthly data volume, you are charged based on the data volume transferred to the cloud.
When you use the device for less than a whole month (30 days), the actual minimum volume of data required for the current month is calculated by using the following formula: Actual minimum volume of data required for the current month = Minimum required monthly data volume/30 × Use days of the device. The following section describes how to calculate the use days of the device:
For the month in which you confirm the receipt of the device, the use days of the device are calculated by using the following formula: Use days of the device = 30 - on which the device is received.
For the month in which you return the device, the use days of the device are calculated by using the following formula: Use days of the device = Date on which the device is returned - 1.
In the case of device replacement, you must consider the following scenarios:
If the device replacement is complete in the current month, the use days of the device are calculated by using the following formula: Use days of the device = (Date on which the device to be replaced is sent back - 1) + (30 - Date on which the new device is received).
If the device replacement crosses months, the following calculation methods apply:
For the month in which the device is delivered, the use days of the device are calculated by using the following formula: Use days of the device = Date on which the device to be replaced is sent back - 1.
For the month in which the new device is received, the use days of the device are calculated by using the following formula: Use days of the device = 30 - Date on which the new device is received.
If you replace the device twice in the current month, the use days of the device are calculated by using the following formula: Use days of the device = (Date on which the device to be replaced is sent back for the first time - 1) + (Date on which the device to be replaced is sent back for the second time - 1 - Date on which the new device is received for the first time) + (30 - Date on which the new device is received for the second time).
If you replace the device within three months after you confirm the receipt of the device, the time used for device replacement is not deducted.
The dates on which you confirm the device receipt, return the device, and replace the device (including the date on which you send back the device to be replaced and the date on which you receive the new device) are not calculated.
