Subscription Data Management (DMS) items stop working when they expire. Renew items before expiration to maintain service continuity. Pay-as-you-go DMS items do not require renewal.
Auto-renewal behavior
When auto-renewal is enabled, the system deducts fees nine days before the item expires. Keep the following in mind:
Both account balance and coupons can pay renewal fees. Make sure your Alibaba Cloud account has enough balance.
If you manually renew an item before the auto-renewal deduction occurs, the system skips the auto-deduction for that billing cycle and resumes auto-renewal at the next expiration date.
The system renews the item based on the duration you specify. For example, if you set the renewal duration to three months, each auto-renewal charges a three-month subscription.
If a DMS item expires the next day, manually renew it instead of waiting for auto-renewal. For more information, see Manually renew a DMS item.
