Data Management (DMS) supports the subscription billing method, which requires a renewal if a chargeable DMS item expires. To prevent your business from being affected, renew chargeable DMS items at the earliest opportunity. This topic describes how to enable and disable auto-renewal for chargeable DMS items and how to manually renew chargeable DMS items.

Precautions
- If you enable auto-renewal, the system deducts fees from your Alibaba Cloud account nine days before the chargeable DMS item involved expires. Make sure that your account has a sufficient balance. The balance and vouchers in your account can both be used for fee deductions.
- If you manually renew a chargeable DMS item before an automatic deduction can be applied, no automatic deduction will be attempted until close to the next expiration date.
- If a chargeable DMS item is to expire the next day, manually renew it to prevent service
