    Cloud Storage Gateway:Update gateways

    This topic describes how to update on-premises file gateways in the on-premises gateway console.

    Procedure

    Warning

    Updating gateways will cause temporary business interruptions. Exercise caution when performing this operation.

    1. Open your browser, enter https://<IP address of the file gateway> in the address bar, and then press Enter.

    2. In the dialog box that appears, enter your username and password, and then click OK.

    3. Click Upgrade.

      Note

      During the update, the gateway cannot respond to requests from clients.
