This topic describes how to update Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) gateways in the Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) console.
Procedure
Updating gateways will cause temporary business interruptions. Exercise caution when performing this action.
On the Gateways page of the CSG console, find the gateway and click Upgrade in the Actions column.
During the update, the gateway cannot respond to requests from clients.
The gateway update operation can be performed only if a later version is available. The gateway update feature allows you to maintain the latest version of the system.
For business continuity and data security, the system automatically completes the gateway update process after you start the update, without requiring you to manually stop the gateway first.
