Deployment modes
Elastic Compute Service (ECS) mode: The primary service is deployed on an ECS instance, and scheduled tasks are published to Alibaba Cloud Function Compute by using functions. Alibaba Cloud provides Apsara DevOps pipelines in this mode. Service providers can directly implement continuous delivery/continuous deployment (CI/CD) after they modify the code.
Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) mode: Services are deployed in ACK clusters by using Helm. No pipeline is available. Customers need to package server images by themselves. The primary service contains the Boost.server and Boost.front code. Customers also need to package the Boost.serverless job image and manage the image by themselves.
Billing
You can use Compute Nest SaaS Boost free of charge. However, you are charged resource fees generated when you deploy Compute Nest SaaS Boost on ECS instances or ACK clusters.

Sell services by using SaaS Boost
After you publish a service in the Compute Nest console as a service provider and deploy a service instance by using Compute Nest SaaS Boost, you can publish the service as a product in Compute Nest SaaS Boost. This way, you can sell the service in Compute Nest SaaS Boost. Customers can purchase the service by using Alipay or WeChat Pay.
Subscription
In the subscription billing method, customers purchase a service with a specified duration, such as one year or one month, and renew the service with a specified duration.
Pricing
The subscription billing method allows you to define different parameter sets for a service or directly price a service to implement flexible sales. For example, if a software has a basic edition and an advanced edition with different prices, customers are charged based on different prices when they switch between the basic edition and the advanced edition of the service.
Payment platforms
You can use Compute Nest SaaS Boost to sell services that support Alipay and WeChat. Compute Nest SaaS Boost supports the key and certificate modes of Alipay, and API V3 certificate mode of WeChat Pay. You can use the parameter management feature provided by SaaS Boost to associate your account with SaaS Boost with ease. This way, you can directly obtain your sales revenue by using Alipay or WeChat.
