Compute Nest:Manage hosted O&M service instances

Last Updated:Aug 06, 2025

After you publish a hosted O&M service as a service provider, you can use the hosted O&M service instance management feature to view all service instances that are created based on the published hosted O&M service. This topic describes how to view a hosted O&M service instance and perform O&M operations on the resources in the service instance.

Background information

Services that support the hosted O&M feature include private services for which the hosted O&M feature is enabled and hosted O&M services. This topic describes how to manage hosted O&M service instances. For more information about how to manage private services for which the hosted O&M feature is enabled, see manage service instances.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Compute Nest console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Service Instance.

  3. On the Service Instance page, click the Customer's Service Instances tab, and then find the hosted O&M service instance that you want to view.

  4. Click the ID of the hosted O&M service instance or Details in the Actions column.

You can perform this operation only on a hosted O&M service instance or a private service instance for which the hosted O&M feature is enabled.

    • On the Overview tab, you can view the overview information of the instance, including the resources, basic instance information, and service information.

    • On the Resources tab, you can view the ID, status, service, and resource type of resources. You can also perform the following operations on a resource:

      • Connect to the resource. To perform this operation, you must be granted the logon permission or full permissions on the instance by your customer.

      • Play recordings. To perform this operation, you must be granted the operation audit permission, read-only permission, or full permissions on the instance by your customer.

      • Diagnose the health of the resource, start, stop, and restart Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, and run commands. To perform this operation, you must be granted the full permissions on the instance by your customer.

    • On the Monitoring tab, you can view the monitoring data of the service instance.

To perform this operation, you must be granted the monitoring permission, read-only permission, or full permissions on the instance by your customer.

    • On the O&M Management tab, you can use a CloudOps Orchestration Service (OOS) template, select the cloud resources that you want to manage, and specify the corresponding parameters to perform O&M operations. For more information, see Manage service instances.

To perform this operation, you must be granted the full permissions on the instance by your customer.

    • On the Logs tab, you can view the operation logs of resources in the service instance. You can select a resource in the service instance and specify filter conditions to view the resource operation logs that meet the filter conditions.

To perform this operation, you must be granted the operation audit permission, read-only permission, or full permissions on the instance by your customer.
