Compute Nest:Apply for the permissions on a deployment URL

If your service provider does not grant you the permissions on a deployment URL, you must apply for the permissions on the deployment URL before you can deploy a service instance. This topic describes how to apply for the permissions on a deployment URL and view the application progress.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Compute Nest console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Service Catalog.

  3. On the Service Catalog tab of the Service Catalog page, find the service for which you need to apply for the permissions on a deployment URL and apply to contact the service provider or apply for the permissions on the deployment URL.

    • To establish contact with the service provider, perform the following steps:

      1. On the service card, click Contact Now.

      2. In the dialog box that appears, specify the information such as your name, phone number, and email address.

      3. Select I have read and agree to Compute Nest Terms of Service and authorize Alibaba Cloud to share the preceding information with the service provider of the service. and click OK.

    • To apply for the permissions on a deployment URL, perform the following steps:

      1. On the service card, click Create Service Instance.

      2. In the Apply for Permissions dialog box, specify the information such as your name, phone number, and email address.

      3. Select I have read and agree to Compute Nest Terms of Service and authorize Alibaba Cloud to share the preceding information with the service provider of the service. and click OK.

    Compute Nest sends your personal information to the corresponding service provider by text message or email to remind the service provider to review the application.

    You are notified by text message or email when the service provider approves or rejects your application.

What to do next

On the Service Review page, you can view the status of the application and perform other operations on the application.

  • If the application is in the Pending Approval state, you can modify or revoke the application.

  • If the application is in the Rejected state, you can move the pointer over the icon to check the reason for the rejection.

  • If the application is in the Approved state, you can click the URL of the service to view the detailed information about the service and deploy a service instance.
