Cloud Monitor:PC monitoring details

Real User Monitoring (RUM) in Cloud Monitor 2.0 provides comprehensive monitoring for PC applications. It collects and analyzes performance data, such as resource loads, API requests, and exception statistics. This feature supports single-user session tracking to reconstruct user scenarios. It also gathers stack traces and contextual information to help you quickly identify the root cause of problems. This helps developers efficiently resolve performance issues.

Access the feature

  1. Log on to the Cloud Monitor 2.0 console, and select a workspace. In the left navigation pane, choose Application Center > Application Observability > Rum Insights.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Application List and then click the name of the target application.

    You can use the time range picker in the upper-right corner of the page to adjust the query time range.

Entity details

The application overview page summarizes the status of an application. It displays metrics such as the number of sessions, page views (PVs), unique visitors (UVs), exceptions, and API requests. The page also shows page performance, access trends, and resource types.

Related topology

The Related Entity Topology page shows the call relationships among the application's internal resources during a specified time period.

You can click a resource node to view the list of resources in the right-side panel. In the panel, you can click an API name to view the resource details.

sessionTrace

Troubleshooting requires context to reconstruct an error scenario. The session tracking feature provides end-to-end tracking based on a username or user ID. It reproduces a user's access path to help you locate and analyze the cause of an error.

  • In the search box area, you can click the text box at the top to manually add query conditions.

  • In the quick filter area, you can select filter conditions. The filters in this area interact with the search box.

  • In the aggregation graph area, you can select the data to view based on aggregation metrics and dimensions. You can also choose to display the metrics as a bar chart, line chart, pie chart, or map.

  • The session list area shows the details of each session. You can click a Session ID to view the session details. You can then drill down to view information about pages, resources, and user behavior.

resourceLoading

The Resource Loading page displays data about resource errors, performance, and requests. Resources include API requests and static CDN resources. You can perform targeted analysis based on the data for specific resources.

  • In the quick filter area, you can select filter conditions. The filters in this area interact with the search box.

  • In the trend chart area, you can view the trends of resource load counts, load duration, and load status. The load counts can be broken down by resource type and request method. The load duration can be broken down by resource type.

  • The resource list area shows data for all resources, such as domain names, types, request methods, request counts, slow request counts, success rates, and average duration. You can click a resource name to view its details, including trend analysis and the resource loading stack.

APIResoure

The API Requests page displays data such as request counts, request duration, and status codes for each API. You can perform targeted analysis based on abnormal API requests and request details.

  • In the trend chart area, you can view trends for the application's API request counts and duration, and the status code distribution.

  • The API request list area shows information for all APIs, such as request methods, request counts, error counts, slow request counts, success rates, and average request duration. You can click an API request name to view its details, including trend analysis and request details.

exceptionStatistics

The Exception Statistics page displays data such as exception counts, impact counts, and exception distribution. You can perform targeted analysis based on a specific exception.

  • In the search box area, you can click the text box at the top to manually add query conditions.

  • In the quick filter area, you can select filter conditions. The filters in this area interact with the search box.

  • In the trend chart area, you can view trends for exception types and counts, and the number of affected pages, users, and sessions.

  • The exception list area shows information for all exceptions, such as exception details, exception counts, last occurrence time, number of affected pages, number of affected page views, number of affected users, and number of affected sessions. You can click an Exception Name to view its details, including trend analysis and error details.

customEvents

The Custom Events page shows the custom events reported by the current application.

  • In the search box area, you can click the text box at the top to manually add query conditions.

  • In the quick filter area, you can select filter conditions. The filters in this area interact with the search box.

  • In the trend chart area, you can view the number of reported custom events, and the number of associated users and sessions.

  • The event list area shows information such as event names, event groups, report counts, property values, last report time, number of associated access users, number of associated business users, number of associated sessions, and page views. You can click an Event Name to view its details, including trend analysis and custom report details.

customLogs

The Custom Logs page shows the custom logs reported by the current application.

  • In the search box area, you can click the text box at the top to manually add query conditions.

  • In the quick filter area, you can select filter conditions. The filters in this area interact with the search box.

  • In the trend chart area, you can view the number of reported custom logs, and the number of associated users and sessions.

  • The log list area shows information such as log names, log levels, log content, log counts, last report time, number of associated access users, number of associated business users, number of associated sessions, and page views. You can click a Log Name to view its details, including trend analysis and custom report details.
