Cloud Monitor:Frontend application

Last Updated:Jun 12, 2026

Cloud Monitor 2.0 monitors your frontend application's performance, focusing on user experience. It reproduces complete user sessions to track page load speeds, API call performance, and stability by capturing issues like JavaScript (JS) errors, network errors, crashes, and Application Not Responding (ANR) events. You can also query log data to quickly trace and locate the cause of failures and improve the user experience.

Multi-platform support

Monitor various application types, including web & H5, mobile apps, mini programs, and Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS apps. Its lightweight and flexible integration lets you collect user experience data without manual instrumentation.

Quick integration

Integration is simple: add a dependency package to your project and a short initialization snippet to automatically collect client-side performance data—no manual instrumentation required.

End-to-end monitoring

Analyze the user experience by starting with a user session to trace errors, slowdowns, and exceptions. Correlating network analysis with backend application monitoring provides end-to-end analysis and streamlines troubleshooting.

Log query

Frontend application data is stored in your Simple Log Service account, where you can query and use it. Frontend monitoring also integrates with Managed Service for Prometheus, letting you manage your frontend monitoring metrics in Prometheus.

Data Explorer

To support flexible analysis of metrics and dimensions during routine troubleshooting, Data Explorer lets you combine any dimension and metric. You can configure filters to isolate data for any combination, which shortens the analysis path and helps you quickly determine a failure's scope.

Visualization

In addition to the console pages for standard analysis, frontend monitoring leverages the powerful visualization capabilities of Managed Service for Grafana to provide out-of-the-box, scenario-based dashboards. You can also create custom dashboards in Managed Service for Grafana for your specific business analysis needs.
