This topic describes how to ingest observable metrics from DataWorks into CloudMonitor 2.0 for monitoring purposes.
Prerequisites
Enable Prometheus Service and Hybrid Cloud Monitoring.
Limits
Only CloudMonitor metric ingestion is supported.
If you use a Resource Access Management (RAM) user for data ingestion, grant the
AliyunCloudMonitorFullAccesssystem policy to the user.
Billing
Metric ingestion incurs fees for real-time export from Hybrid Cloud Monitoring and Prometheus Service.
Data ingestion
Log on to the CloudMonitor 2.0 console, select the target workspace, and then click Integration Center in the navigation bar. Click DataWorks to start the ingestion.
Create or select a Policy Name. As needed, select the observable data to ingest, and then click OK.
Observable data
Configuration
DataWorks metrics
Selected by default. Provides key metric monitoring, performance data analytics, and anomaly alerts.
After the ingestion is complete, view the ingested entities and their related observable data in Entity Explorer.
Storage policy
After ingestion, CloudMonitor creates a Prometheus instance to store the corresponding observable data.
Data type | Default storage location | Notes |
Metrics | Prometheus instance: RegionShare:{{workspaceName}}:{{regionId}} | None |
Uninstall or Modify Access Policy
To cancel or modify an integration, go to the Integration Center Provisioning page, locate the corresponding integration policy, and click Edit or Delete.
