After you create an alert rule, you can modify, copy, disable, enable, and delete it. You can also view the alert history and promptly handle the alerting resources.

On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to modify and click Modify in the Actions column.
In the Modify Alert Rule panel, adjust the alert rule parameters.

Copy an alert rule
If you want to reuse the configuration of an existing alert rule, you can copy it instead of creating a new rule from scratch.
On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to copy and click the icon in the Actions column, and then click Copy.
In the Copy Alert Rule dialog box, adjust the metric dimension settings as needed, and then click OK.
The copy dialog box provides only a metric dimension selector. It does not provide a resource scope selector: the resource scope (for example, the instances or the application group) of the copied rule is always inherited from the original rule and cannot be changed.
If you need to configure alerts for an application group and the resource scope of an existing rule does not match your target application group, use an alert template instead of copying a rule: create a template on the Alert Templates page, and then apply the template to the target application group. For more information, see Apply an alert template to an application group.
View alert history
View an alert rule's history and resource details to quickly locate and handle the alerting resources.
-
Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.
On the Alert Rules page, find the target alert rule and click Alert History in the Actions column.
