Check resource usage, estimate usage trends, and optimize resources based on a resource usage report.
Prerequisites
If you use a RAM user to perform this operation, make sure that the system policy AliyunCloud MonitorFullAccess is attached to the RAM user. For more information, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.
Procedure
-
Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
-
On the Resource Usage Report page, find the target report task and click View Latest Report in the Actions column.
The report includes the following sections:
-
Resource Distribution
View resource distribution by cloud service, resource group, region, and Cost center.
NoteAll resources in this report are the cloud resources specified in the corresponding report task.
-
Resource Usage Details
Filter resources by resource group or cost center. Usage of the selected resources is displayed by cloud service. This section contains: cloud service resource distribution, resource usage statistics and comparison, and resource load evaluation. ECS is used as an example.
-
Cloud service resource distribution
Displays ECS resource distribution by resource group, cost center, and region based on your filter conditions.
Note-
If you filter by Cost Center, the Resource Group Distribution of Instances chart is displayed.
-
If you filter by Resource Group, the Cost Center Distribution chart is displayed.
-
-
Resource usage statistics and comparison
Displays ECS resource usage statistics and comparisons, including average usage of three core metrics, resource distribution across usage ranges, and usage references based on historical data and intelligent algorithms.
Note-
For supported cloud services and metrics, see Cloud products and metrics supported by resource usage reports.
-
For the computing logic of resource usage comparison, see Resource usage comparison.
-
-
Resource load evaluation
Evaluates ECS resource load using the Cloud Monitor intelligent algorithm. Resources are classified as high load, normal, or low load based on usage.
Note-
Some resources may be classified as unknown due to insufficient data.
-
Load evaluation is supported only for ECS resources.
-
For the load evaluation algorithm, see Evaluation algorithm for ECS resource load.
