You can modify an alert contact if its information changes. You can also change a contact's alert contact group at any time. This enables flexible management of alert contacts and alert contact groups.
Modify an alert contact
Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Alert Contacts tab, find the desired alert contact and click Edit in the Actions column.
In the Set Alert Contact panel, update the email address and webhook URL, and leave the alert notification language set to Automatic.
NoteThe alert notification language defaults to Automatic, which means Cloud Monitor sends alert notifications in the language specified for your Alibaba Cloud account.
(Optional) Test the connectivity of the webhook URL.
Click Test next to the webhook URL.
In the webhook test panel, use the returned status code and test result details to verify and troubleshoot the connection.
NoteYou can also set the template type and language and then click Test again to view the updated test results.
Click Close.
Verify the information and click OK.
(Optional) Activate the email address.
When an email address is added for an alert contact, its status defaults to pending activation. The contact must click the activation link in the email within 24 hours to complete the activation. If not activated within this period, the contact will not receive alert notifications. Once activated, the email address appears in the alert contact list.
Modify an alert contact group
Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Click the Alert Contact Group tab.
On the Alert Contact Group tab, click the
icon next to the desired alert contact group.In the Modify Alert Contact Group panel, reselect the alert contacts.
Click OK.
