Cloud Monitor:Metric integration

Last Updated:Jun 04, 2026

Integration Center provides out-of-the-box observability for most cloud monitoring targets, including infrastructure, server-side applications, frontend applications, databases, middleware, artificial intelligence, and big data products. It serves as the starting point for Prometheus-based monitoring and lets you extend coverage with custom metrics.

What is the Integration Center

Setting up a Prometheus-based observability stack from scratch requires assembling multiple components: exporters to expose metrics, scrapers to collect them, storage backends to retain them, and visualization tools to surface them. Each component requires significant configuration and ongoing maintenance.

Integration Center removes that overhead. It provides pre-built, Prometheus-based integrations for a broad range of cloud monitoring targets, so you can start collecting metrics without manual Prometheus configuration.

Monitoring coverage

Integration Center covers the following categories:

Category

Description

Infrastructure

Hosts, cloud resources, and infrastructure components

Server-side applications

Backend services and application runtimes

Frontend applications

Client-side and browser-based applications

Databases

Relational, NoSQL, and time-series databases

Middleware

Message queues, caches, and service mesh components

Artificial intelligence

AI and machine learning workloads

Big data

Data processing frameworks and analytics platforms

For the complete list of supported targets, see the Integration Center catalog.

How it works

Integration Center uses Prometheus as its metrics backbone. Activating an integration connects your monitoring target to the platform's observability stack, giving you immediate visibility without manual Prometheus configuration.

Because integrations are pluggable, you can extend coverage beyond the built-in catalog by adding custom metrics or connecting targets not yet supported out of the box.

Next steps

  • Browse the Integration Center catalog to find integrations for your stack.

  • Activate an integration to start monitoring your first target.

  • Add custom metrics to extend an existing integration.
