Cloud Monitor:Dashboards

Hybrid Cloud Monitoring is a pay-as-you-go service that requires separate activation. Activation is free, and you are charged based on actual usage. The service includes dashboards, resource usage reports, second-level monitoring, and real-time data exporting.

Dashboards apply to these scenarios:

  • Extended storage duration for monitoring data.

  • Unified monitoring across multicloud, hybrid cloud, and cross-account environments.

  • Flexible custom metrics.

Billing cycle

You are billed daily.

Daily fees = number of data points collected in the metric repository × unit price of the selected storage duration specification.

The default storage duration specification is cms.s1.3xlarge, which is 93 days.

Billing formula

Dashboard fee = Number of data points × Unit price

Note

A data point is a single metric value at one point in time. Examples:

  • The CPU utilization (CPUUtilization) of one ECS instance at one point in time = one data point.

  • The disk usage (diskusage_used) of one ECS disk at one point in time = one data point.

  • An SLB instance with two listeners produces two data points for active TCP connections (ActiveConnection) at each point in time.

Billing examples

Tiered billing examples (based on cms.s1.3xlarge, 93-day storage):

  • Example 1: 280 million data points collected in one day. Daily fee:

    Fee = 200 million data points × USD 0.004331/10,000 data points + (280 million - 200 million) data points × USD 0.00315/10,000 data points = USD 111.82

  • Example 2: 200 ECS instances, 10 metrics each, 1-minute collection period. Daily fee:

    1. Data points = 200 instances × 10 monitoring metrics per instance × 60 minutes × 24 hours = 2.88 million

    2. Fee = 2.88 million data points × USD 0.004331/10,000 data points = USD 1.247328
