CloudQuotation provides a disaster recovery solution that can ensure high availability. CloudQuotation uses the solution that deploys multiple data centers and implements disaster recovery policies to ensure that services can be rapidly recovered if a failure occurs. The disaster recovery solution ensures data integrity and availability in different failure scenarios.
Intra-region deployment
CloudQuotation deploys data centers in multiple zones in the same region. This provides disaster recovery at the data center level. If a data center becomes unavailable due to network disconnections, power outages, or other disasters, CloudQuotation continues to provide highly consistent services. This way, the services are not interrupted, and data is not lost during failovers. This helps meet the strict requirements of key business systems for the recovery time objective (RTO).
CloudQuotation deploys multiple data centers in the same region and implements disaster recovery policies. This provides the following benefits:
Users can retrieve data from the nearest data center. This reduces the data latency.
Data can be synchronized across multiple data centers based on the real-time data replication policy.
Each data center can independently process requests based on the active zone-redundancy architecture.
Cross-region deployment
CloudQuotation deploys multiple data centers across regions to implement better data backup and disaster recovery. For example, you have high requirements for data security and availability. If data centers deployed in one region are damaged in a catastrophic event, such as an earthquake or a tsunami, you can use data centers that are deployed in another region. You can use one of the following methods:
If all services that are deployed in one region are unavailable, you can switch to services deployed in other regions.
You can access multiple regions at the same time. If a service fails in one region, services in other regions can work as expected.
