Cloud Firewall:View security groups

Last Updated:Mar 31, 2026

The Security Groups tab of the Business Visualization page shows how security groups are distributed across regions and how they relate to each other within a virtual private cloud (VPC). Use this view to audit security group coverage, identify dependency relationships between groups, and check first-visit traffic statistics.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • Cloud Firewall Enterprise Edition or Ultimate Edition

View security group topology

  1. Log on to the Cloud Firewall console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Settings > Business Visualization.

  3. On the Security Groups tab, click the VPC whose security groups you want to inspect.

Each VPC entry shows the total number of security groups, vSwitches, and Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances in that region.

Note: New ECS Instances shows the number of ECS instances purchased in the last seven days.
  4. On the topology page, review the security group distribution and dependencies.

    • To filter by importance level, move the pointer over image on the left side of the page and select the importance levels to display.

    • The right side of the page shows statistics for Security Group, ECS, and First Visit Traffic, along with the list of security groups in the VPC.

    • To view the business relationships of a specific security group, click 图标 next to the security group in the list. The dialog box shows the nodes and business relationships of the security group.

    • To view details about a security group, click the name of the security group in the list. You can view the following information: ECS, Dependent Security Group, Independent Security Group, and First Visit.
