Cloud Firewall:Enable log analysis

Log analysis automatically collects real-time Internet traffic logs for retrieval, analysis, and visualization on dashboards.

Supported editions

Log analysis is available only for the Premium, Enterprise, Ultimate, and Pay-As-You-Go editions of Cloud Firewall.

Important

If your billing method is legacy pay-as-you-go 1.0, logs are not automatically deleted when you release a Cloud Firewall instance. To stop billing, go to the Simple Log Service console and manually delete the Cloud Firewall Project.

Enable log analysis

If you did not enable log analysis when you purchased Cloud Firewall, upgrade your instance to enable it.

  1. Log on to the Cloud Firewall console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Detection & Response > Log Analysis.

  3. On the Log Analysis page, click Enable Now or Upgrade Now for the old billing method, or Enable Now for the new billing method.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
