This topic describes how to switch the billing method for Cloud Firewall between subscription and pay-as-you-go.
Subscription to pay-as-you-go
Precautions
Refund policy: When you switch from a subscription to a pay-as-you-go plan, you receive a refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
Log rule: If the log analysis feature is enabled, you are billed for the pay-as-you-go plan based on the log storage capacity of the original subscription plan after the switch. To adjust the capacity, go to the Overview page, find the Assets Are Protected for section, and click Upgrade.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Firewall console.
In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, choose .
On the Cloud Firewall Subscription To Pay-As-You-Go page, read the Note, read Terms Of Service, and then click Buy Now.

Precautions
When you switch from pay-as-you-go to a subscription, the final bill for your pay-as-you-go usage is generated and settled at 18:00 on the following day (T+1).
The specifications of the new subscription plan must be greater than or equal to the number of assets that are currently protected.
The switch to a subscription plan begins after you complete the purchase. Until the purchase is successful, your pay-as-you-go plan and its configurations remain active.
After you switch from pay-as-you-go to a subscription, your access control policies do not change. Go to the console to confirm the configurations if necessary.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Firewall console.
In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, choose .
On the Switch Billing Method of Cloud Firewall from Pay-as-you-go to Subscription page, read the Note, select I have read and understand the preceding note., and then click Confirm.
On the Cloud Firewall purchase page, purchase a subscription edition of Cloud Firewall.
The switch to the subscription plan begins after you complete the purchase. Until the purchase is successful, your pay-as-you-go plan and its configurations remain active. After the switch is complete, Cloud Firewall is billed by subscription.
