Evaluates whether a Server Load Balancer (SLB) instance is deployed across multiple zones. An SLB instance deployed across zones is considered compliant.
Scenario
Multi-zone SLB instances support zone-disaster recovery, ensuring service continuity if the primary zone becomes unavailable.
Risk level
Default risk level: high.
You can change the risk level based on your business requirements when you apply this rule.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If the SLB instance is deployed across zones, the evaluation result is Compliant.
- If the SLB instance is deployed in a single zone, the evaluation result is Incompliant. To fix this, see the "Incompliance remediation" section of this topic.
