Scenarios
Use this rule to verify that MongoDB instance data is backed up. You can download backup files to an on-premises server for storage, or restore them to a self-managed database for testing or data analysis.
Risk level
Default risk level: low.
You can change the risk level when you configure this rule.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If log backup is enabled for a MongoDB instance, the evaluation result is Compliant.
- If log backup is disabled for a MongoDB instance, the evaluation result is Incompliant. For more information about how to remediate an incompliant configuration, see Incompliance remediation.
