Cloud Config:mongodb-instance-backup-log-enabled

Evaluates whether log backup is enabled for each ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance. Instances with log backup enabled are compliant.

Scenarios

Use this rule to verify that MongoDB instance data is backed up. You can download backup files to an on-premises server for storage, or restore them to a self-managed database for testing or data analysis.

Risk level

Default risk level: low.

You can change the risk level when you configure this rule.

Compliance evaluation logic

  • If log backup is enabled for a MongoDB instance, the evaluation result is Compliant.
  • If log backup is disabled for a MongoDB instance, the evaluation result is Incompliant. For more information about how to remediate an incompliant configuration, see Incompliance remediation.
