You can download a compliance evaluation report generated based on rules to an on-premises machine. This allows you to assign tasks and update the required resource configurations on the premises.

Use an ordinary account

If you use an ordinary account, you can download a compliance evaluation report that is generated based on the rules within your account.

  1. Log on to the Cloud Config console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Rules.
  3. On the Rules page, click Generate Report in the upper-right corner.
    Wait 1 to 2 minutes for the latest compliance evaluation report to be generated.
  4. On the Rules page, click Download Report in the upper-right corner.
  5. In the Download Report message, click OK.
    You can obtain a compliance evaluation report in the Excel format. The report displays the type, ID, name, and region of each resource that is evaluated as non-compliant within your account. In addition, the report displays the names of the rules against which resources are evaluated as non-compliant and the links to the topics that describe how to remediate non-compliant resources.

Use a management account

If you use a management account, you can download a compliance evaluation report that is generated based on the rules within your account or those within member accounts in the relevant resource directory.

  1. Log on to the Cloud Config console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Rules.
  3. On the Rules page, click the required account group tab.
  4. On the account group tab, click Generate Report in the upper-right corner.
    Wait 1 to 2 minutes for the latest compliance evaluation report to be generated.
  5. On the account group tab, click Download Report in the upper-right corner.
  6. In the Download Report message, click OK.
    You can obtain a compliance evaluation report in the Excel format.
