Cloud Config lets you configure the delivery of resource data to other cloud services, such as EventBridge, and CloudMonitor, for processing.
Prerequisites
Make sure that you have activated EventBridge. For more information, see Activate EventBridge and grant permissions.
Background information
Cloud Config delivers resource change events and non-compliance events to EventBridge. This centralizes event consumption and distribution.
Cloud Config delivers resource change events and non-compliance events to CloudMonitor. This keeps you informed of resource changes and compliance status. You can also create alert rules to receive notifications, helping you quickly analyze and troubleshoot issues.
NoteThe system event and alerting features of CloudMonitor are enabled by default.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Config console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Set the delivery status for EventBridge, and CloudMonitor.
The following table describes the event types and their default status for each integrated cloud service. You can enable or disable delivery for each event type.
