In Cloud Config, you can configure the event delivery service for EventBridge and CloudMonitor to deliver resource information to the corresponding cloud services. This helps you handle events and troubleshoot issues.
Prerequisites
EventBridge is activated. For more information, see Activate EventBridge and grant permissions to a RAM user.
Background information
Cloud Config allows you to deliver resource change events and non-compliance events to EventBridge. This way, you can enjoy an all-in-one solution for event consumption and distribution.
Cloud Config allows you to deliver resource change events and non-compliance events to CloudMonitor. In CloudMonitor, you can learn about resource changes and compliance evaluation status in a timely manner. You can also configure alert rules to receive alert notifications. This way, you can quickly analyze and locate issues.
NoteThe system event and alert service features of CloudMonitor can be directly used without the need to enable the features.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Config console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose
.Set Integrated Service Status for EventBridge and CloudMonitor.
The following table lists the event types and the default status of event delivery for EventBridge and CloudMonitor that can be integrated with Cloud Config. You can enable or disable event delivery for specific types of events.

EventBridge
Use EventBridge to serve as a unified portal to consume and distribute resource change events and non-compliance events reported by Cloud Config. For more information, see Connect an Alibaba Cloud service to EventBridge as an event source.
CloudMonitor
Use CloudMonitor to receive resource change events and non-compliance events from Cloud Config. You can view system events from Cloud Config and set alert rules for them. For more information, see View system events and Create a system event-triggered alert rule.
