Evaluates whether the default forwarding rules of all listeners on each Application Load Balancer (ALB) instance have at least the specified number of backend servers. The evaluation result is Compliant if the threshold is met. The default threshold is 1.
Scenarios
Ensure that at least one backend server is added to the default forwarding rules of each ALB listener to maintain business availability. Adding multiple backend servers forms a high-performance, high-availability server group that improves business stability.
Risk level
Default risk level: high.
You can change the risk level based on your business requirements when you apply this rule.
Compliance evaluation logic
-
If the number of backend servers added to the default forwarding rules associated with the listeners of each ALB instance is greater than or equal to the specified number of backend servers, the evaluation result is Compliant. The default number of backend servers is 1.
-
If the number of backend servers added to the default forwarding rules associated with the listeners of an ALB instance is less than the specified number of backend servers, the evaluation result is Non-compliant.
