An Application Load Balancer (ALB) instance is considered non-compliant if its 5xx error rate is greater than or equal to a specified value for at least 8 hours within a specific time range. The default time range for this check is the last 7 days. This rule does not apply if an ALB instance is not connected to Cloud Monitor or has no monitoring data. The check uses the monitoring data API of Cloud Monitor and consumes the free quota of the basic Cloud Monitor service. To ensure the quality of the check, you can enable Hybrid Cloud Monitoring. For more information about Hybrid Cloud Monitoring billing, see Cloud Monitor billing.
Scenarios
This rule checks if the 5xx error rate of an ALB instance remains high. This helps you promptly identify issues such as abnormal backend service processing or failed health checks.
Risk level
Default risk level: High.
You can change the risk level as needed.
