Cloud Config:ALB EIP outbound bandwidth usage check

Last Updated:Sep 26, 2025

If the outbound bandwidth usage of any elastic IP address (EIP) associated with an Application Load Balancer (ALB) instance is greater than or equal to a specified value for at least 8 hours within a specific period, the instance is considered non-compliant. This rule does not apply to instances without associated EIPs, or to ALB instances that are not connected to Cloud Monitor or have no monitoring data. The default detection period is the last 7 days. This check uses the Cloud Monitor API and consumes the Cloud Monitor free quota. To ensure detection quality, you can enable Hybrid Cloud Monitoring. For more information about billing for Hybrid Cloud Monitoring, see Billing of Cloud Monitor.
