Cloud Config:nlb-server-group-multi-zone

Evaluates whether resources in each Network Load Balancer (NLB) server group are distributed across multiple zones. If so, the result is Compliant.

Scenarios

For high-availability web applications, add resources from multiple zones to an NLB server group to enable automatic traffic distribution and failover, ensuring service stability and continuity.

Risk level

Default risk level: high.

When you apply this rule, you can change the risk level based on your business requirements.

Compliance evaluation logic

If resources in each NLB server group are distributed across multiple zones, the result is Compliant. This rule does not apply to server groups that contain no resources or only IP-type resources.
