When you import data from another database into ApsaraDB for ClickHouse, you must add the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) block of the destination cluster's Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to the source database whitelist. This topic describes how to find that CIDR block.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
An ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster that is deployed and running
Access to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console and the VPC console
Find the VPC CIDR block
Step 1: Copy the VPC ID of the destination cluster
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console with your Alibaba Cloud account.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster resides.
On the Cluster List page, select the Instance List tab for the destination cluster type, and click the cluster ID.
On the Cluster Information page, copy the VPC ID.
Step 2: Look up the CIDR block in the VPC console
Log on to the VPC console with your Alibaba Cloud account.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the VPC resides.
Set the search condition to Instance ID, paste the VPC ID you copied, and click Search.
In the results list, note the CIDR block for your VPC.
