Last Updated:Jul 17, 2026

You can view, modify, copy, enable, stop, and delete alert rules for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse.

Prerequisites

  • Your cluster runs the Community-Compatible Edition or Enterprise Edition.

  • ApsaraDB for ClickHouse alerting relies on Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS). If you are a RAM user, make sure you have the AliyunARMSFullAccess permission. For more information, see Manage permissions for a RAM user.

Manage alert rules

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select your cluster's region.

  3. On the Clusters page, click Clusters of Community-compatible Edition or Enterprise Edition Clusters, and then click your target cluster's ID.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring and Alerting.

  5. On the Monitoring Details page, click the Cluster Alerting tab.

  6. In the ClickHouse Alerts or Enterprise Edition ClickHouse Alerts list, find your target alert rule and perform any of the following operations in the Actions column:

    • View historical alerts for an alert rule: Click Alert Event History in the Actions column.

    • Modify an alert rule: Click Actions in the Modify column and configure the parameters in the Edit Alert panel. For more information, see Set alerts in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.

    • Copy alert rule: Click Copy in the Actions column to duplicate the current alert rule.

    • Stop an alert rule: Click Stop in the Actions column. After you stop a rule, no alerts are triggered even if the monitored metrics meet the alert conditions.

    • Enable an alert rule: Click Start in the Actions column. After you enable a rule, alerts are triggered when the monitored metrics meet the alert conditions.

    • Delete an alert rule: Click Delete in the Actions column. Deleted rules cannot be recovered. You must create a new rule if needed.
