ApsaraDB for ClickHouse:Manage alert rules

After you create alert rules for your ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster, you can view alert history, edit conditions, copy, enable, disable, or delete rules from the console.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • An ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Community-compatible Edition or Enterprise Edition cluster

  • A RAM user granted the AliyunARMSFullAccess permission of Application Real-time Monitoring Service (ARMS)

The alerting feature of ApsaraDB for ClickHouse depends on ARMS. To grant permissions to a RAM user, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.

Manage an alert rule

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your cluster is deployed.

  3. On the Clusters page, click the Clusters of Community-compatible Edition tab or the Enterprise Edition Clusters tab, then click the ID of the cluster you want to manage.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring and Alerting.

  5. Click Cluster Alerting.

  6. On the ClickHouseAlerts page (Community-compatible Edition) or the Enterprise EditionClickHouseAlerts page (Enterprise Edition), find the alert rule and select an action in the Actions column.

    Edit the ruleClick EditOpens the Edit ClickHouseAlert Rule page. For parameter details, see Configure an alert rule
    Copy the ruleClick CopyCreates a new alert rule with the same configuration
    Disable the ruleClick StopPauses the rule. No alerts are triggered even when alert conditions are met
    Enable the ruleClick StartResumes the rule. Alerts are triggered when alert conditions are met
    Delete the ruleClick DeletePermanently deletes the rule. This action cannot be undone—you must create a new rule if needed
