You can renew a subscription ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster or a storage plan to extend its usage period. The renewal fee is the same as the purchase fee. Pay-as-you-go clusters do not expire and do not need to be renewed. For these clusters, you only need to ensure that your Alibaba Cloud account has a sufficient balance. A computing resource plan is valid for three years and cannot be renewed.
Precautions
Computing resource plans cannot be renewed.
Before you renew, confirm that no unpaid renewal orders exist for the target cluster.
NoteLog on to the Expenses and Costs console, choose Order, and then complete the payment or cancel the order.
When you enable auto-renewal, note the following:
If a resource plan or cluster expires the next day, auto-renewal will not be triggered. To avoid service interruptions, you must renew it manually.
Auto-renewal takes effect the next day. The renewal is not executed immediately.
Auto-renewal payments can only be deducted from your account balance. Payments cannot be deducted from a bank card, Alipay balance, or credit card. Ensure that your account balance is sufficient.
Renew a cluster
To prevent service interruptions caused by a missed renewal, you can enable auto-renewal.
Auto-renewal
Enable auto-renewal when you create a cluster
Select the Auto-renewal check box when you purchase a subscription cluster.
After you enable auto-renewal, the system automatically renews the cluster based on the renewal cycle you select. For example, if you select a three-month renewal cycle, you are charged for a three-month subscription for each renewal.
Enable auto-renewal in the console
You can enable auto-renewal for one or more ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters.
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-right corner of the console, click to go to the Expenses and Costs page.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Renewal. On the Renewal page, filter for the instances that you want to renew.
In the Actions column of the instance to be renewed, click Enable Auto Renewal.
NoteTo enable auto-renewal for multiple clusters, select the check boxes of the clusters and click Enable Auto Renewal at the bottom of the page.
In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, set the Unified Auto Renewal Cycle and click Auto Renew.
Manual renewal
Manually renew a cluster in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the cluster is located.
On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click Renew in the Actions column.
On the Renew page, set the Subscription Period.
Click Buy Now, and complete the payment as prompted.
Manually renew a cluster in the Expenses and Costs console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-right corner of the console, click to go to the Expenses and Costs page.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Renewal . On the Renewal page, filter for the instances that you want to renew.
In the Actions column of the instance to be renewed, click Renew.
NoteTo manually renew multiple clusters, select the check boxes of the clusters and click Batch Renew at the bottom of the page.
On the Renew page, set the Duration.
Click Buy Now, and complete the payment as prompted.

When you purchase a storage plan for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise Edition, select the Auto-renewal check box.
After you enable auto-renewal, the system automatically renews the storage plan based on the renewal cycle you select. For example, if you select a three-month renewal cycle, you are charged for a three-month subscription for each renewal.
The renewal payment is deducted nine days before the resource expires. If the payment fails, the system retries the next day until the payment is successful or until one day before the expiration date. Auto-renewal payments can only be deducted from your account balance. Payments cannot be deducted from a bank card, Alipay balance, or credit card. Ensure that your account balance is sufficient.
You can use coupons to pay for renewals. If your account has active coupons, the system automatically applies them.
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time.
