ApsaraDB for ClickHouse subscription clusters and storage plans can be renewed to extend their usage period at the same price as the original purchase. Pay-as-you-go clusters do not expire and do not need to be renewed — keep your Alibaba Cloud account balance topped up to maintain uninterrupted service. Computing resource plans are valid for three years and cannot be renewed.

Computing resource plans cannot be renewed.
Before renewing, confirm that no unpaid renewal orders exist for the target cluster. To check, log on to the Expenses and CostsExpenses and Costs consoleOrder, choose Order, and complete or cancel any pending orders.
If a cluster or resource plan expires the next day, auto-renewal will not trigger. Renew it manually to avoid a service interruption.
Auto-renewal takes effect the next day — it does not execute immediately after you enable it.
Auto-renewal payments are deducted from your account balance only. Bank cards, Alipay balance, and credit cards are not accepted. Make sure your account balance is sufficient before the renewal date.

Enable auto-renewal when purchasing
Select the storage plan for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise EditionAuto-renewal check box when you purchase a subscription cluster.
After auto-renewal is enabled, the system renews the cluster based on the renewal cycle you selected. For example, a three-month renewal cycle charges a three-month subscription fee on each renewal.
Enable auto-renewal in the console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-right corner, click Expenses to go to the Expenses and Costs page.
In the navigation pane, choose Renewal and filter for the clusters you want to renew.
In the Actions column of the target cluster, click Enable Auto Renewal.
To enable auto-renewal for multiple clusters, select their check boxes and click Enable Auto Renewal at the bottom of the page.
In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, set the Unified Auto Renewal Cycle and click Auto Renew.
Manual renewal
Renew a cluster manually in the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-left corner, select the region where the cluster is located.
On the Clusters page, find the target cluster and click Renew in the Actions column.
On the Renew page, set the Subscription Period.
Click Buy Now and complete the payment.
Renew a cluster manually in the Expenses and Costs console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-right corner, click Expenses to go to the Expenses and Costs page.
In the navigation pane, choose Renewal and filter for the clusters you want to renew.
In the Actions column of the target cluster, click Renew.
To manually renew multiple clusters, select their check boxes and click Batch Renew at the bottom of the page.
On the Renew page, set the Subscription Period.
Click Buy Now and complete the payment.

Auto-renewal
Enable auto-renewal when purchasing
When you purchase a storage plan for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise Edition, select the Auto-renewal check box.
After auto-renewal is enabled, the system renews the storage plan based on the renewal cycle you selected. For example, a three-month renewal cycle charges a three-month subscription fee on each renewal.
The renewal payment is deducted nine days before the plan expires. If the payment fails, the system retries daily until the payment succeeds or until one day before the expiration date.
Active coupons are automatically applied to renewal payments.
Auto-renewal can be cancelled at any time.
Enable auto-renewal in the console
Log on to the ApsaraDB for ClickHouse console.
In the upper-right corner, click Expenses to go to the Expenses and Costs page.
In the navigation pane, choose Renewals.
In the renewal list, find the target storage plan and click Enable Auto Renewal in the Actions column.
To enable auto-renewal for multiple storage plans, select their check boxes and click Enable Auto Renewal at the bottom of the page.
In the Enable Auto Renewal dialog box, set the Unified Auto Renewal Cycle and click Auto Renew.

In the navigation pane, choose Renewals and filter for the plans you want to renew.

On the Renew page, set the Duration.
Click Buy Now and complete the payment.
