To meet the demand for higher performance in architectures with decoupled storage and compute resources, ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise Edition introduces two cloud disk types—ESSD_L1 and ESSD_L2—in public preview for selected users starting September 24, 2025. You are welcome to participate in the testing experience.

Preview period
The public preview starts on September 24, 2025. An announcement will be posted two weeks before the feature becomes commercially available, at which point the public preview ends. Check the official website for announcements.
Limitations
During the public preview, you can create ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise Edition clusters with cloud disk storage only in the following regions: China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), China (Shenzhen), China (Hangzhou), Singapore, and China (Hong Kong).
