This topic describes the fees for backup space in ApsaraDB for ClickHouse clusters.
The fees provided in this topic are for reference only. The actual fees in the console shall prevail.
Fees for backup space
Billing rule: ApsaraDB for ClickHouse provides a free quota for the storage of backup data. The free quota is equal to the size of the storage space in your ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster. If the size of your backup data exceeds the free quota, you are billed for the excess backup space based on the pay-as-you-go billing method. You are billed by hour and based on the unit price of backup space.
Billing formula: Fee for backup space = (Used backup space - Free quota of backup space) × Unit price of backup space × Time.

Example:
In the following example, the backup space that you use does not exceed the free quota:
If the free quota is 50 GB and the backup space that you use is 40 GB, the backup data for this instance is free.
In the following example, the backup space that you use exceeds the free quota:
If an ApsaraDB for ClickHouse cluster that is deployed in China (Hangzhou) provides a free quota of 50 GB and you use 100 GB of backup space for 1 hour, the fee for the excess backup space is USD 0.0012, which is calculated based on the following formula: (100 GB - 50 GB) × USD 0.000024 per GB-hour × 1 hour = USD 0.0012.
