ChatApp Message Service:Manage users

On the Customer management page, you can add users to your independent software vendor (ISV) and view the user information. This topic describes how to add, view, and manage the user information in the ChatApp console.

Prerequisites

  • ChatApp Message Service is activated.

  • An Alibaba Cloud account is created and enterprise verification is complete for the Alibaba Cloud account. If you do not have an Alibaba Cloud account or do not complete enterprise verification, go to the Register account page to create a business account and go to the Real-name Registration page to complete enterprise real-name verification.

Manage the ISV verification code

The ISV verification code is used to verify whether the user is authorized by ISV.

  1. Log on to the ChatApp console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Customer management.

  3. Click ISV code management.

  4. Click Refresh ISV code to update the ISV verification code.

    Important

    The original ISV verification code will become invalid after you update it. Proceed with caution.

  5. Click Copy to copy the ISV verification code to the clipboard.

Add the user information

Perform the following steps to add a user to your ISV and submit related information for review:

  1. On the Customer management page, click Add and enter the user information as prompted.

  2. Click Submit.

    You can view the review results in the Audit result area on the right.

View the user information

On the Customer management page, click View in the Operate column to view the user information and review results.

Manage the user information

On the Customer management page, click Management in the Operate column. You can register a WhatsApp Business account, manage phone numbers, design templates, and query messaging records for the user.

Manage RAM users

If users want to manage their own accounts, you can create RAM users and grant permissions to the RAM users in the RAM console. Then, you can bind the RAM users to the ISV users on the Customer management page in the ChatApp console.

  1. On the Customer management page, click RAM account in the Operate column.

  2. Specify the parameters.

    • Logon Name: specifies the logon name of the RAM user you created in the RAM console.

      Note

      If you have changed the logon name in the RAM console, you can also click RAM account on the Customer management page to change the logon name.

    • UID: specifies the UID assigned to the RAM user after you create the RAM user in the RAM console. The UID cannot be changed.

  3. Click OK to bind the RAM user with the ISV user.

    Click Cancel to cancel the binding.

    To unbind a RAM user, click RAM account in the Operate column. In the dialog box that appears, click Unbind RAM account and click OK.

Withdraw the user information

On the Customer management page, click withdraw in the Operate column. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

Edit the user information

  1. On the Customer management page, click Edit in the Operate column and edit the user information as prompted.

  2. Click Submit audit.

    After the audit is passed, the user is successfully added to your ISV. If the audit fails, you need to resubmit the user information.
