The Forward to Journey (New) component references a journey that you already created and forwards the current journey to it. This topic describes the configuration details of the component.

Prerequisites
To configure this component, access the journey canvas by using an existing journey or creating a new one.
Go to the canvas of an existing journey
On the journey list page of Agentic Journey, click Edit to the right of the journey to enter the canvas edit page.
Create a new journey to open its canvas. For more information, see Use Agentic Journey.

Configuration item | Description |
Forward To | Select a journey that you already created. |
Wait for completion | Specifies whether to wait for the child journey to finish running. |
Wait time | Available after you turn on Wait for completion. Specifies how long to wait for the child journey to finish running. If the child journey does not finish within the wait time, the current journey continues and no longer waits for the child journey to end. |
Child journey input settings | Available after you turn on Wait for completion. Specifies the input parameters that are passed to the child journey. Enter the parameter name of the child journey on the left and the variable value of the current journey on the right, in the |
Child journey response settings | Available after you turn on Wait for completion. Specifies the output parameters that the child journey returns. The custom variable name stores the output of the child journey, and you can reference it in subsequent nodes. |
