Overview

In the Partner Benefit Center of the Alibaba Cloud Partner Network Console (ACPN), Partners can access ACP/ACE benefits, which are provided in the form of Exam Codes on the website of Alibaba Cloud Academy as shown below. After acquiring an Exam Code, Partners must complete the exam on the Pearson VUE platform.

Alibaba Cloud Academy will establish specific training organizations for each partner. The eligibility for the number of ACP/ACE certificates available in the ACPN Benefit Center is determined by the certificates obtained under each partner's respective organization.

Partners need to obtain exam codes through the Partner Benefit Center and distribute them among their members within their Alibaba Cloud Academy organization for exam completion. Additionally, any exams that Partners pay for themselves will also count towards the Partner's ACP/ACE certificate tally, as long as the participants belong to the Partner's Alibaba Cloud Academy organization.

How to Apply for Benefits

Steps:

1. Visit the ACPN Partner Benefit Center.

2. Click on the application link for ACP/ACE Coupon.

3. Select the exam name and choose the number of coupons you wish to apply for. Click on Submit. A confirmation prompt will be displayed.

   

4. Click on Go to Alibaba Cloud Academy, then select the Pearson Exam Code tab on the page. Check the exam codes you have applied for.

   

5. Click on the Exam instruction document to view the exam introduction.

How to find the issued ACP/ACE Exam Code in the Benefit Center

Partners can check the issued ACP/ACE Exam Codes in Benefit Change Records page once they consumed ACP/ACE Partner Benefit and successfully obtained the ACP/ACE Coupons.

Steps:

1. Click Details in the Action colume of Benefit Change Records list.

   

2. Find Issued Exam Codes on the Details page; the texts in brackets are the Exam Codes.

   

How to Utilize the Exam Code

Once you have obtained the exam codes from the partner benefits, log in to the Alibaba Cloud Academy's partner organization management backend. Start by navigating to the user management interface to invite the necessary Alibaba Cloud accounts to join the partner training organization. After distributing the exam code to the relevant members, they will be able to complete the exams, thereby fulfilling the ACP/ACE qualification requirements associated with partner benefits.

Invite Members to Join Your Organization

Steps

1. Log in to the partner's working account on the Alibaba Cloud official website and click the following URL to open the Alibaba Cloud Academy website. You can also log in to ACPN first and use the quick link at the top of ACPN to access it:

   https://edu.alibabacloud.com/partner_portal/my/manage

   

2. In Alibaba Cloud Academy, click on "Org Management" in the right navigation menu to enter the Alibaba Cloud Academy's partner organization management backend.

   

3. Click on the "User Management" section on the left side, then click on the "Copy Invitation Link" button on the page.

   

4. Send the copied link to the person who needs to join the partner organization. After the person uses their Alibaba Cloud account to log in and accesses the link, they should fill out the necessary information in the application form and click "Submit".

   

5. After submission, they will receive a prompt. Wait for the partner’s confirmation.

   

6. Log in to the partner training organization with the partner's main account, go to the "User Management" page, click on "Applicants", find the application record just submitted, and then click "Approve".

   

Participate in ACP/ACE Exams

Once the invited account joins the partner training organization, the user can use the exam code to take the exam. The partner needs to inform the member of the exam code and guide them to take exam through the following steps.

1. Access the following link to create an exam account on the Pearson VUE website:

   https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/alibaba.html

2. After the user has completed the registration, log in to the Pearson VUE homepage and click on "View exams".

   

3. Choose the exam from the list. Note that the allocated exam code can only be used for the specified exam content, so it is necessary to confirm with the partner which exam the provided code is valid for. Then select the correct exam name.

4. Select one of the first two options: either take the exam at a test center or choose an online exam.

   

5. If you opt for the test center exam, you will be prompted to schedule an exam time in the subsequent steps. When you reach the final step, click on "Proceed to Checkout".

   

6. In the Voucher/Promotion Code input box, enter the exam code you received, and you can take the exam for free.

   

7. If you select the online exam, the following steps will guide you to test your equipment and choose an online exam time. Finally, you will reach the confirmation page; again, click on "Proceed to Checkout". After entering the exam code, you will obtain a free exam eligibility.

How to link certifications to Partner Account

1. Refer to the guide titled "Invite Members to Join Your Organization" to invite candidates to join their respective organization.

2. Refer to the guide titled "How to Apply for Benefits" and "How to find the issued ACP/ACE Exam Code in the Benefit Center" to obtain the Exam Codes and issue them to the members of your organization.

3. Refer to the guide titled "Take the ACP/ACE exam" to register a Pearson account, take the exam and settle the bill with the Exam Codes.

4. After passing the exam, candidates can bind the corresponding certificate on the ACADEMY - My Certificate page. Candidates must ensure they have joined the partner organization first; only then will the bound certificate be linked to the partner organization.

   1. Log in Alibaba Cloud ACADEMY(https://edu.alibabacloud.com), navigate to My Learning - My Certification, select the certificate type, and click the orange text "Link your Pearson account with your Alibaba Cloud account" to open the pop-up window.

   2. In the pop-up window, enter the Candidate ID and Registration ID, then click Submit to complete the process. Upon successful binding, you will see a pop-up confirmation prompt.

      Note

      • A certificate can only be bound to ONE Alibaba Cloud ACADEMY user account. Once the binding is completed, it cannot be altered. Please ensure that you confirm the certificate and account information in advance.

      • You can view the Registration ID on the My Profile page of the Pearson website.

      • You can view the Candidate ID on the Exam history details page of the Pearson website.

      • Please note that Pearson's exam data will be updated to Alibaba Cloud within 3 days after the exam is passed. If the association failed pop-up window appears, please try to bind the certificate again 3 days after passing the exam.

        

FAQ

• Q: How do I add an account that already in another organization to my organization?

• A: If the target account is already in another organization, it must first be removed from that organization before it can be invited to join your organization. There are two ways for an account to quit the original organization:

  a. Target Account quits the original organization by itself

  User login Target Account and navigate to Alibaba Cloud Academy page, click "Quit Organization" on the "My Profile" subpage to leave that organization.

  

  b. The manager of original organization remove the Target Account

  User login manager account of original organization and navigates to Alibaba Cloud Academy page. They should find the target account in the "User Management" subpage and click "Remove" to delete target account from that organization.
