Cloud Enterprise Network:Resource topology

Last Updated:Jun 21, 2026

The resource topology page displays the network instances attached to a CEN instance, providing a quick overview of your network connections to simplify management.

The resource topology uses a tree structure. The root node represents the CEN instance, with branches expanding to the right for each region. Each region has a transit router, which shows the number of attached network instances by type: VPC, VBR, VPN, and Express Connect. A green status dot indicates a normal status.

Attached regions

  1. Log in to the CEN console.

  2. On the CEN Instance page, click the target CEN instance ID.

  3. On the CEN instance details page, click the Resource Topology tab to view the regions currently attached to the CEN instance.

The page displays a tree topology. The central node is the current CEN instance. Each attached region, such as China (Beijing), China (Hangzhou), and China (Shenzhen), is a branch node. A green circle next to a node indicates a normal connection status.

Network instances in a region

On the Resource Topology tab, click a region name to view the number and types of network instances attached in that region.

You can also click a transit router instance ID to view the network instances attached to it.

On the right, the Connection Basic Information panel displays the transit router's ID, Name, Region, and Status. Below this, the Attached Connections list shows the attached network instances along with their regions and statuses.

Network instance details

On the Resource Topology tab, click a network instance type within a region to view instances of that type.

For example, click VPC to view the attached VPC instances. The panel on the right displays Connection Basic Information (including the instance ID, instance name, connection type, resource owner UID, status, creation time, region, and description) and the Associated Network Instances list (including the availability zone, VSwitch, and status).
