To roll back a CEN migration, restore the routes that were removed during the migration process. The rollback procedure depends on which migration type you used.
Choose a rollback procedure
| Migration type | Rollback action |
|---|---|
| Migrations with transient connection errors | Re-add the deleted static routes of the peering connection, then delete any CEN routes with a more specific or identical destination |
| Seamless migrations | Re-add the deleted specific routes |
Roll back a migration with transient connection errors
Re-add the deleted static routes of the peering connection.
Delete any CEN routes whose destination is more specific than, or identical to, the destinations of the re-added static routes.
If Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routes are configured on the migrated virtual border router (VBR), you must also roll back the route advertisement.
Roll back a seamless migration
Re-add the deleted specific routes.
If BGP routes are configured on the migrated VBR, you must also roll back the route advertisement.
