How to obtain the free quota
If CDT is already enabled for your service, the free quota is automatically increased from 200 GB per month to 220 GB per month.
If CDT is not enabled for your service, you can enable CDT to obtain 220 GB of free Internet data transfers per month.
After CDT is enabled for a cloud service, all existing and new pay-by-data-transfer instances are billed by CDT. Bills are also issued by CDT. Pay-by-bandwidth instances are still billed by the cloud service itself. To view your bills, log on to the Expenses and Costs console, go the Billing Details tab, and then select Cloud Data Transfer.
CDT bills include the free quota details about Internet data transfers. You can select Cloud Data Transfer-Internet to view the details. In the details, instances whose unit price is 0 or data transfer tier in the instance ID is 0 are allocated a free Internet data transfer quota. Internet data transfers within the monthly quota are free of charge. Data transfer overages are billed based on the tiered pricing model of CDT.
