A CDT Resource Plan is a prepaid data transfer package that offsets CDT traffic at a lower cost with customizable specifications.
Product Overview
Features
-
Flexible specifications: Customize your plan size from 50 GB to 102400 GB in 1 GB increments.
-
Immediate activation, automatic offset: Once activated, the plan automatically offsets CDT traffic.
-
Lower costs: CDT Resource Plans generally offer lower unit prices than pay-as-you-go CDT billing.
For example, a customer used 1020 GB of CDT public BGP (multi-line) traffic in mainland China regions in June, with the first 20 GB covered by the free quota. Using pay-as-you-go CDT billing, the cost would be (1020 GB – 20 GB) × USD 0.118/GB = USD 118. The official discounted price for a 1000 GB CDT Resource Plan (Mainland China General) is USD 108.56, saving USD 9.44.
-
Fully compatible with tiered pricing: Offsets all CDT public traffic tiers beyond the free quota.

-
Supported line types: BGP (multi-line). BGP (multi-line)_Premium is not supported.

Purchase a CDT Resource Plan
Before purchasing, confirm in the CDT console that your products have been upgraded to CDT billing mode.
After upgrading, pay-by-data-transfer instances are billed and invoiced through CDT. Pay-by-bandwidth instances remain billed under their original cloud products. View CDT bills on the bill details page under Expenses and Costs.
The Upgrade Cloud Products to CDT Billing page lists supported products: Elastic Compute Service (ECS), Elastic IP Address, Classic Load Balancer, Function Compute, IPv6 gateway, Global Accelerator (public), Anycast EIP (public), and Internet Shared Bandwidth. CDT provides a monthly free quota of 220 GB public traffic (20 GB/month for mainland China regions, 200 GB/month for regions outside the Chinese mainland), which offsets public traffic for ECS, Elastic IP Address, and Classic Load Balancer. Traffic beyond this quota uses tiered pricing.
On the CDT Resource Plan - Purchase Page, select the Region, Quantity, Resource Package Capacity, and set the Opening time selection.
Available sales regions include Mainland China General, Asia-Pacific General, Europe General, North America General, South America General, and Middle East General. The line type is BGP (multi-line). Available capacities include 100 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB, 5 TB, 10 TB, or custom. Activation time options include activate immediately (valid for 12 months).
