This topic describes how to deactivate Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN). Follow the instructions in this topic with caution to prevent additional fees after you deactivate Alibaba Cloud CDN.
Before you begin
If you directly deactivate Alibaba Cloud CDN, your business may be interrupted. Therefore, Alibaba Cloud does not allow you to deactivate Alibaba Cloud CDN in the console. However, if you do not add domain names to Alibaba Cloud CDN or use features such as EdgeRoutine, you are not charged for Alibaba Cloud CDN. This is equivalent to deactivating Alibaba Cloud CDN. You can perform the following operations to stop the billing of Alibaba Cloud CDN.
Disable real-time log delivery
If you have enabled the real-time log delivery feature, disable the feature and clear the logs that are stored in Simple Log Service before you remove domain names. For more information, see Overview of the real-time log delivery feature.
Log on to the CDN console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Real-time Logging tab, click Edit Domain Name in the Actions column of the project. In the Edit Domain Name dialog box, click Clear and then click Edit.
In the Actions column of the project used in Step 3, click the More icon and then click Delete Service.
Disable log storage
If you have enabled the log storage feature, disable the feature and clear the logs that are stored in Object Storage Service (OSS) before you remove domain names. For more information, see Use Function Compute to deliver logs.
In the Alibaba Cloud CDN console, disassociate the Function Compute service from all domain names.
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud CDN console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Click the Function Compute for Log Storage tab.
Click Bind Domains in the Actions column. In the dialog box that appears, select the domain names that you want to disassociate in the right-side list and click
. 
Click OK.
Optional. Delete the function and service in the Function Compute console.
NoteWhen you enable Function Compute for log storage, a function and a service are created or an existing function and an existing service are used. When you disable Function Compute for log storage, you can delete the function and the service to clear the settings.

Delete log data from the OSS bucket in the OSS console.
NoteYou are charged for the storage of log data in OSS buckets. We recommend that you delete the log data that you no longer require from OSS buckets.

Remove domain names
If you have added domain names to Alibaba Cloud CDN, remove all domain names. After you remove the domain names, Alibaba Cloud CDN disables the acceleration service and stops charging you for the domain names. For more information, see Disable acceleration.
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud CDN console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Domain Names.
On the Domain Names page, find the domain name that you want to remove and choose
> Delete in the Actions column. In the message that appears, click OK.
