By default, consortium blockchains are only visible to the account that created them. As an administrator, invite other registered Alibaba Cloud users to join your consortium blockchain.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
Administrator access to the Alibaba Cloud Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) console and a consortium blockchain already created
The invited user's Alibaba Cloud account ID (the invited user must retrieve this and share it with you before the invitation can be sent)
Confirmed that the invited user has a registered Alibaba Cloud account
To find the account ID, the invited user logs on to the Alibaba Cloud BaaS console and clicks Security Settings in the left-side navigation pane.
Invite a user
The invitation process requires actions from both the administrator and the invited user.
Step 1: Send an invitation (administrator)
Log on to the BaaS platform as an administrator.
Click Contract Blockchain, select a blockchain, and click Management.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Member Management, then click Invite User.
In the dialog box that appears, enter the account of the user you want to invite to send the invitation email.
Step 2: Accept the invitation (invited user)
Open the invitation email from Alibaba Cloud and click the invitation link.
Log on to your Alibaba Cloud account.
Click Accept Invitation.
What's next
After accepting the invitation, the invited user must activate Alibaba Cloud BaaS and then apply to join the blockchain to become a consortium member.
