Bastionhost:Search and view real-time monitoring sessions

Prerequisites

Before playing session recordings, ensure your browser is configured for video playback.

Search sessions

1. Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.

2. In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.

3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose O&M Audit > Real-Time Monitoring.

4. On the Real-Time Monitoring page, filter by criteria such as host IP, username, or session ID, and then click Search.

   To save the current search criteria for future use, click Save. You can then select the saved criteria from the Default Condition drop-down list in the upper-right corner of the session list.

View session details

1. Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.

2. In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.

3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose O&M Audit > Real-Time Monitoring.

4. In the session list, find the target session, and in the Actions column, click Details.

   The session details dialog box displays the following information: Session ID, Start Time, Session Duration, User, Source IP, Source Port, Hostname, Host IP, Username, Protocol, and Host Port.

Play session recordings

1. Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.

2. In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.

3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose O&M Audit > Real-Time Monitoring.

4. In the session list, find the target session, and in the Actions column, click Play.
