Modify an existing authorization rule to update its name, validity period, remarks, or associated assets and asset groups. Delete rules that are expired or no longer needed.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
An authorization rule created in your bastion host. For more information, see Create an authorization rule
Modify an authorization rule
On the Authorization Details page, update basic settings on the Basic Info tab or manage associated assets on the Assets/Users tab.
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your bastion host resides.
In the bastion host list, find the bastion host you want to manage and click Manage.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Authorization Rules.
On the Authorization Rules page, find the authorization rule to modify, then click Edit in the Actions column.
On the Authorization Details page, make the changes you need:
Basic Info tab: Update Authorization Rule Name, Validity Period, or Remarks, then click Update.
Assets/Users tab: Add or remove assets or asset groups associated with the rule.
Delete an authorization rule
After you delete the authorization rule, the configurations such as the assets that are associated with the rule and the validity period of the rule become invalid.
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your bastion host resides.
In the bastion host list, find the bastion host you want to manage and click Manage.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Authorization Rules.
On the Authorization Rules page, find the authorization rule to delete, then click Delete in the Actions column.
In the dialog box that appears, click Delete.
