NAS recycle bin
Description
Checks whether the recycle bin feature is enabled for your NAS file system.
Fix method
Log on to the File Storage NAS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the file system with vulnerabilities is deployed. On the File System List page, click the ID of the file system. On the file system details page, click the Recycle Bin tab and click Enable Recycle Bin. In the Enable Recycle Bin dialog box, specify the number of days during which files are retained. Click OK.
Enabling the recycle bin feature is free. However, you are charged for the storage space occupied by files temporarily stored in the recycle bin. Storage fees are based on the storage type of the files before deletion. To reduce costs, specify an appropriate retention period. NAS backup
Description
Checks whether the NAS backup feature of Cloud Backup is enabled for your NAS file system.
Fix method
Log on to the Cloud Backup console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup > NAS Backup. On the NAS Backup page, click Create Backup Plan. In the Create Backup Plan panel, configure the backup settings as prompted.

Cloud Backup cannot back up files in a NAS file system for which the SMB ACL feature is enabled.

Before you can use NAS backup of Cloud Backup, you must activate Cloud Backup. If you use NAS backup, Cloud Backup charges you the storage fee. For more information, see File Storage NAS and Billing methods and billable items.
Cross-region replication of NAS backup vaults
Description
Checks whether the cross-region backup feature is enabled for NAS backup vaults of Cloud Backup.
Fix method
Log on to the Cloud Backup console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Storage Vaults. On the Storage Vaults page, find the target backup vault and click Cross-Region Backup in the Actions column. In the Create Mirror Vault panel, select a destination region and configure the remaining parameters.

Before you can use the cross-region backup feature of Cloud Backup, you must activate Cloud Backup. You are charged for the traffic generated when you copy backup data from the backup vault to the mirror vault. For more information, see Billing methods and billable items.

The cross-region backup feature does not support archive vaults or backup vaults for which Key Management Service (KMS)-based encryption is enabled. For more information, see Cross-region backup.
