Backup and Disaster Recovery Center (BDRC) sends alert notifications when exceptions occur, such as a protection policy execution failure.
Query messages

Log on to the BDRC console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Message Center. You can filter messages by message type, message level, and time range.

Message Type
The message type. Valid values:

The sub protection policy is modified

The sub protection policy is not found

Protection policy not executed

Failed to apply the protection policy
Message Level
The message level. Valid values:

Critical: An urgent issue that requires immediate action. For example, "The sub protection policy is not found" or "Failed to apply the protection policy".

Warning: An issue that requires your attention. For example, the sub protection policy is modified or the protection policy is not executed.
Message time later than
The start time of the query range.
Message time earlier than
The end time of the query range.

Handle alert messages

On the Message Center page, find the target message and click the entry in the message source column.

On the Protection Policy Center page, in the latest application column, click View All.

In the Latest Application Result panel, click the application result drop-down list and select Failed or Skipped. Then, resolve the issue based on the error message.
