Alibaba Cloud Managed Service for Prometheus provides the data delivery feature that enables flexible, scalable management of monitoring data. This feature supports remote writes from one Prometheus instance to another, and integration with cloud services such as ApsaraMQ for Kafka and MaxCompute. By extending Prometheus' ecosystem compatibility, this feature enables diversified computational requirements across cloud computing scenarios, allowing broader application of monitoring data in cloud environments.

This feature requires EventBridge (commercially available since June 3, 2025). Refer to EventBridge fees for billing details.

Scenarios
Long-term storage
Monitoring data is retained for 90 days in Managed Service for Prometheus by default (maximum 180 days). For year-level retention, use the data delivery feature to export the data to your custom storage service.
Data processing foundation
Export monitoring data from Managed Service for Prometheus to big data services such as MaxCompute for:
Cross-source analysis with error logs and external datasets
Further processing for report analysis and business decision-making
